About Men's Intimate Wellness

About me

I’m Dr. Aaron Vasquez, MPH. My doctorate is in public health, not medicine — an important distinction I’ll never blur. I spent the first part of my career in community health programs focused on men’s preventive care. What I kept seeing: men show up to clinic ten years later than they should, because the topics they care about most — erectile function, prostate issues, hormone changes — are the ones they’ve been told not to discuss.

This site is my attempt to write the information I wish I could have handed those men years before they walked in.

Editorial approach

Every article here goes through the same process:

  1. I scope the claim narrowly. “Does zinc affect testosterone?” is answerable. “Do supplements boost performance?” is not.
  2. I pull the strongest evidence I can find. Cochrane reviews and meta-analyses beat individual RCTs. Individual RCTs beat observational studies.
  3. I write the answer plainly and show the evidence level next to it.
  4. If new research changes the answer, I update the article and date the revision.

What you won’t find here

Miracle cures, testosterone-boosting click bait, or affiliate-driven supplement reviews. I occasionally link to specific products when I think they’re worth it, but no brand pays me to say so.

Medical disclaimer

I’m a public-health researcher writing educational content. That’s not a substitute for a urologist, endocrinologist, or primary care doctor. If something has changed recently — a new symptom, a persistent problem, anything that worries you — please see a clinician. Early conversations are cheap; late ones are expensive.
